Pharmacist – 28 hrs per week (Part‑time)

About the role

As a Pharmacist at Asda you will be the frontline health professional for our community, delivering both NHS and private pharmacy services. Working a 28‑hour week, you will balance dispensing, patient advice, and team leadership in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide NHS and private health services, including emergency and urgent care prescriptions.
• Manage and develop the pharmacy team to meet service standards.
• Ensure safety and compliance with GPhC regulations.
• Collaborate with in‑store, regional and head‑office teams for clinical and service queries.
• Drive pharmacy performance to meet business targets.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience in a busy pharmacy setting.
• Motivated to achieve business and service objectives.
