Pharmacist – 30 hours

About the role
As a Pharmacist at Asda you will be the frontline health professional for customers in a busy community pharmacy. You will combine clinical expertise with excellent customer service, supporting both NHS and private patients.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver a range of NHS and private pharmacy services, including urgent care and emergency prescriptions.
- Manage and develop the pharmacy team, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.
- Provide expert advice and empathy to customers, especially vulnerable groups.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with in‑store, regional and head‑office teams for clinical and service support.
- Participate in regular feedback sessions and pursue additional accreditations funded by Asda.
Required profile
- Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
- Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services as well as private healthcare.
- Strong leadership and team‑building abilities in a fast‑paced pharmacy setting.
- Commitment to meeting business targets while providing excellent patient care.
