Pharmacist – 30 hrs Part‑time (Widnes)

About the role

Join ASDA’s pharmacy team in Widnes as a part‑time pharmacist working 30 hours per week. You will be the frontline professional delivering both NHS and private pharmacy services while supporting the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and provide clinical advice to customers.
• Deliver a range of NHS and private pharmacy services, including emergency and urgent care.
• Manage and motivate the pharmacy team to ensure high‑quality service.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborate with in‑store, regional and head‑office teams for clinical and service queries.
• Receive regular feedback, business updates and opportunities for additional accreditations.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services and private healthcare.
• Excellent customer and patient care skills.
• Drive to meet pharmacy business targets.
• Proven leadership experience in a busy pharmacy setting.
