Pharmacist – 35 hours (Part‑time)

About the role

As a Pharmacist at Asda you will be the frontline health professional for customers in a busy retail pharmacy. You will work a 35‑hour week across a varied shift pattern, delivering both NHS and private pharmacy services while supporting your team.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide NHS and private health services, including emergency and urgent care prescriptions.
• Manage and develop the pharmacy team to ensure high standards of customer care.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in all pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with in‑store, regional and head‑office teams for clinical and service queries.
• Participate in regular feedback sessions and business updates.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services.
• Strong communication and empathy when dealing with customers and patients.
• Proven leadership ability in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
• Drive to meet pharmacy business targets.
