Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Dundee)

About the role

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated, patient‑focused Pharmacist to join its busy Dundee branch. You will work in a refreshed community setting with two consultation rooms and a Medipac robotic dispensing system, providing high‑quality care to around 7,000 prescriptions each month.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Provide medication counselling, answer patient queries, and address concerns.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe, effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Deliver immunisation services where applicable.
• Advise on over‑the‑counter products and promote public health initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Current knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends.
• Flexible, positive approach to problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Experience using Medipac robotic dispensing technology.
