Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Leeds)

About the role

This full‑time position supports the healthcare needs of the Leeds community by providing expert medication advice and prescription services. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth pharmacy operations and delivering high‑quality care to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide expert advice on prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of pharmaceutical stock.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff to maintain a high level of service.
• Offer personalized healthcare guidance tailored to individual patient needs.
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Stay updated on changes in pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote patient health and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced retail healthcare environment.
• Experience delivering NHS and private services.
