Pharmacist Manager – Bournemouth

About the role

We are seeking a clinically‑driven Pharmacist Manager to lead our community pharmacy in Bournemouth. You will ensure high‑quality pharmaceutical care while driving business performance and service development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding pharmaceutical care and clinical services to patients.
• Lead, motivate and develop the pharmacy team to meet service standards.
• Ensure compliance with GPhC regulations, NHS requirements and company policies.
• Oversee safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions.
• Expand services such as vaccinations, health checks and other NHS/private offerings.
• Identify commercial opportunities and drive business growth.
• Build relationships with local healthcare professionals and the community.
• Manage stock control, pharmacy operations and service delivery targets.

Required profile

• MPharm degree with current GPhC registration.
• Previous experience as a pharmacist, preferably with management or leadership duties.
• Strong clinical knowledge and a patient‑centred approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven leadership and team‑motivation skills.
• Organisational and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proactive attitude towards service development and business performance.

Required skills

• Pharmacy dispensing and stock management.
• Knowledge of GPhC and NHS regulatory frameworks.
