Pharmacist – Part‑time, Hartlepool

About the role

As a part‑time pharmacist in Hartlepool you will be the frontline health professional in an Asda pharmacy, delivering both NHS and private services to a diverse community. The role combines dispensing, patient counselling and team leadership within a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medication accurately and in accordance with GPhC standards.
• Provide NHS and private healthcare services, including emergency prescriptions and urgent care.
• Manage and support pharmacy staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and safety.
• Maintain pharmacy records, stock levels and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Deliver regular feedback, business updates and pursue additional accreditations funded by Asda.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services and private healthcare.
• Strong customer‑care focus and ability to meet business targets.
• Proven leadership experience in a busy pharmacy setting.
