About the role
We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our Yeovil pharmacy on a part‑time basis. You will play a key role in delivering professional healthcare services, ensuring patients receive accurate advice and safe medication.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and professional standards.
- Provide expert advice on over‑the‑counter medications and health‑related queries.
- Maintain accurate records of patient consultations and prescription transactions.
- Ensure the pharmacy complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to manage stock levels and guarantee product availability.
- Support the training and development of pharmacy assistants and other team members.
- Build strong relationships with customers to foster trust and loyalty.
- Promote health and wellness initiatives within the community.
Required profile
- A recognised degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration.
- Proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
- Solid understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations.
Required skills

- Salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
