Pharmacist Prescriber – GLP‑1 Weight Management (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join our remote weight‑management team. You will deliver safe, evidence‑based GLP‑1 therapy for patients seeking weight loss, working from your own laptop within the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Assess online patient consultations and determine suitability for repeat GLP‑1 medication.
• Prescribe GLP‑1 agents in line with GPHC guidelines, NICE recommendations and internal SOPs.
• Identify contraindications, safeguarding concerns and red‑flags, requesting further information or declining treatment when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with GDPR and company data‑protection policies.
• Provide clear counselling on medication use, side‑effects and lifestyle considerations.
• Stay current with NICE obesity guidelines and GPHC standards.

Required profile

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) and qualified as an Independent Prescriber.
• Right to work in the UK and able to provide professional indemnity insurance.
• Own a personal laptop and reliable internet connection.
• Previous experience with GLP‑1 medications for weight loss is preferred.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment and up‑to‑date with mandatory training.
