Pharmacy Assistant – Clinical Trials (Fixed-Term, London)

About the role
hVIVO is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant to support its FluCamp clinical trial sites in Whitechapel and Canary Wharf, London. The role is a one-year fixed-term position working within a dedicated pharmacy team that prepares, checks and dispenses investigational medicinal products for trial participants.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, label and dispense investigational products in line with approved trial protocols.
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure proper storage conditions for IMPs.
- Perform product returns, accountability checks and documentation in accordance with GCP and SOPs.
- Participate in internal and external audits, and report any workflow issues promptly.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of pharmacy processes.
Required profile
- Motivated and versatile individual with a strong interest in clinical research.
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including day and night shifts, Monday‑Sunday.
- Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week).
Required skills
- Aseptic techniques.
- Handling, preparation and dispensing of drugs in various formulations.
- Knowledge of ICH GCP and FDA regulations (desirable).
- Background in GMP and experience in clinical research (preferred).
