Pharmacy Colleague – Part‑time (20.5 hrs/week)

About the role
Join ASDA's in‑store pharmacy team in Slough on a permanent, part‑time basis (20.5 hours per week). You will work flexible day shifts, including weekends, and will need to pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
Key responsibilities
- Provide friendly, confidential advice on personal health matters and guide customers to the right products.
- Accurately assemble and process prescriptions, collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries, and prepare them for customer collection.
- Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews, blood‑pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
- Support the pharmacist with record‑keeping and delivery of patient services.
- Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and health‑safety guidelines.
- Complete an accredited Medicine Counter Assistant course within six months and progress to Dispensing Assistant training.
Required profile
- Friendly, highly organised and motivated to work as part of a team.
- Good computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping customers.
- Problem‑solving mindset and a commitment to delivering a high‑quality healthcare experience.
