Pharmacy Colleague – Part‑time Fixed‑term

About the role

Join ASDA's in‑store pharmacy team in Skelmersdale on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis. You will work flexible day shifts, including weekends, providing friendly and professional health‑care support to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews, blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
• Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries and prepare them for customer collection.
• Support the pharmacist with record‑keeping and delivery of patient services.
• Complete an accredited Medicine Counter Assistant course and progress to Dispensing Assistant training.

Required profile

• Friendly, highly organised and motivated to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow strict Standard Operating Procedures.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
