Pharmacy Dispenser – Customer Care Role

About the role

As a Dispenser you will be a key member of the pharmacy team in a London store, supporting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient pharmacy services. You will build relationships with patients, listen to their needs, and help them make informed health decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions safely, including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collection of medicines.
• Work with other healthcare professionals to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist when needed.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure legal and safe dispensing.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new store innovations and operational processes.
• Support patients in managing repeat prescriptions and medication adherence.
• Utilise evolving pharmacy technologies and systems to improve safety and efficiency.

Required profile

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current, valid UK right to work (no Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship).
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.
