Pharmacy Practice Manager – Dagenham

About the role

The Pharmacy Practice Manager will lead a busy Asda pharmacy in Dagenham, balancing patient care with commercial performance. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for meeting pharmacy targets, ensuring compliance, and delivering an excellent patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to achieve high standards of patient safety and service.
• Manage day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, including staffing rotas and compliance with GPhC standards.
• Drive commercial performance, meeting sales and KPI targets while maintaining clinical quality.
• Oversee the recruitment, training and performance of pharmacists, pharmacy assistants and locum staff.
• Collaborate with regional and head‑office teams for clinical and service support.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Proven experience managing a pharmacy team and delivering results.
• Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with line‑management duties.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and confidence in handling challenging situations.

Required skills

• GPhC registration.
