Pharmacy Support Worker – Medicines Management Team

About the role
The Medicines Management Support Worker will join NHS Fife’s Medicines Optimisation programme, helping to implement project‑driven changes for patients. Working closely with senior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, you will ensure communications are sent and patient records are updated accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in delivering Medicines Optimisation projects as part of the NHS Fife plan.
- Send patient communications and record medication switches in the patient system.
- Provide evidence‑based medicines optimisation support.
- Support safe, effective and cost‑effective prescribing practices.
Required profile
- Motivated individual with an interest in pharmacy support.
- Willingness to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Flexibility for full‑time (37 hours) or part‑time arrangements.
