About the role
The London Community Foundation is seeking a Philanthropy and Grants Manager to lead donor relationships and oversee grant‑making programmes that create lasting impact across London’s communities. This permanent, hybrid role offers the chance to shape funding strategies and ensure that charitable resources reach the organisations that need them most.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors and key stakeholders.
- Manage the end‑to‑end grant‑making cycle, from application review to impact assessment.
- Provide stewardship and regular communication to keep donors informed and valued.
- Use research, insight and impact data to inform funding priorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align resources with community needs.
Required profile
- Proven experience in philanthropy, grant‑making, charitable programmes or a similar environment.
- Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Strong written communication and research capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to fostering stronger, fairer communities across London.
