PHP Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated PHP Developer to join an experienced in‑house team in Wiltshire. The role is hands‑on, focusing on building and improving business‑critical internal applications that support a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using PHP, MySQL and JavaScript.
• Improve existing systems for performance, usability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical and business‑critical issues.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver effective software solutions.
• Utilise modern development tools, including AI‑assisted workflows.

Required profile

• Strong experience with PHP 7/8 and solid OOP principles.
• Proficient in MySQL and relational database design.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Python experience, preferably with exposure to AI projects.
• Familiarity with VSCode and AI‑assisted development tools.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
