Physics Teacher (Full‑time Fixed‑term)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join an all‑boys secondary school in South West London. The role starts in September and is full‑time on a fixed‑term basis, with a day rate of £195‑£270 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Physics lessons to Year 7‑11 pupils.
• Potentially teach KS5 Physics as the timetable evolves.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments and mark student work.
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an overseas equivalent.
• Clear, up‑to‑date Enhanced DBS.
• Experience teaching Physics in UK schools, either as a newly qualified teacher or an experienced practitioner.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the UK Physics curriculum for secondary education.
• Ability to design and deliver practical laboratory sessions.
• Effective classroom management and assessment techniques.
