Physics Teacher – Secondary School (Full‑time/Contract)

About the role
A large secondary school in Northwood, Hillingdon is seeking a qualified Physics Teacher to start in September. The position is full‑time on a long‑term contract, with part‑time applicants also considered. Working hours run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5.
- Prepare students for GCSE Physics, providing support and challenge to achieve strong results.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
- Contribute to the wider Science department and support extracurricular STEM activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A relevant degree in Physics or a related subject.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
