Physiotherapist – Community Rehab (Part‑time)

About the role

A permanent part‑time physiotherapist position is available within the East Dunbartonshire Community Rehab Team, part of the Care About Physical Activity (CAPA) programme. The role involves delivering physiotherapy services in care homes and patients’ homes across East Dunbartonshire.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy assessment and treatment within community and care‑home settings.
• Support individuals to improve independence, mobility, and functional ability.
• Manage an independent caseload autonomously within the speciality.
• Deliver core rehabilitation interventions.
• Lead and contribute to targeted CAPA projects within local care homes.
• Provide falls education, training, and assessments.
• Work collaboratively as part of the wider Care Home Liaison Team.
• Liaise with patients, care‑home staff, families, third‑sector and independent‑sector agencies to ensure optimal care.
• Participate in local audit and clinical effectiveness projects.
• Support monitoring and evaluation of service provision alongside the Team Lead.

Required profile

• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Full driver’s licence.
• Desirable: post‑graduate experience.
• Desirable: community physiotherapy experience.
