About the role
This temporary, part‑time position combines van driving with order picking for Tesco’s delivery operation in Reading. You will support the delivery team by accurately selecting items, preparing them for dispatch, and ensuring customers receive their orders on time.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately pick items using a handheld terminal and prepare them for delivery.
- Check product quality, shelf life and packaging integrity before dispatch.
- Load and deliver goods to customers, ensuring timely and courteous service.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the manager.
Required profile
- Valid full driving licence.
- Ability to work part‑time hours and occasional overtime.
- Commitment to high standards of customer service.
Required skills
- Driving a van safely and responsibly.
