Picker/Driver – Temporary Part‑Time

About the role

Join Booker Group as a temporary part‑time Picker/Driver in Reading. You will support the delivery team by picking orders, preparing them for dispatch and delivering goods to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pick items using a handheld terminal and record selections.
• Check product quality, shelf life and ensure packaging is secure for delivery.
• Load and unload van loads, following health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Deliver goods to customers on schedule, providing a high level of service.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the manager.
• Assist with overtime shifts as required.

Required profile

• Full, valid driving licence.
• Ability to work part‑time on a temporary basis.
• Reliability and commitment to punctual deliveries.
• Willingness to work in the Reading area.

Required skills

• Handheld terminal operation for order picking.
