Plant Fitter – Door to Door (South West England)

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Fitter to work on a door‑to‑door basis across the South West region. The role combines workshop duties with field visits, fitting attachments to a variety of construction and plant equipment while receiving ongoing training.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and install attachments on construction machinery and plant equipment.
• Travel to customer sites across Bridgwater, Taunton, Glastonbury, Bristol, Weston, Exeter and surrounding areas.
• Perform diagnostics and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience as a Plant Fitter or in a similar mechanical fitting role.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with flexible start times.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and progress to senior positions.
