Plasterer – Bournemouth

About the role

We are looking for an experienced plasterer to join our social housing repairs and maintenance team covering the Bournemouth area. This mobile, full‑time position offers the stability of regular work while giving you the autonomy to manage your own schedule and resources.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal plastering repairs, including skimming, patching and full wall or ceiling finishes.
• Perform damp and mould remedial works where required.
• Maintain high‑quality standards while working in occupied homes.
• Manage stock and materials using the company‑provided fuel card and van.
• Use a PDA or mobile device to receive jobs and update status in real‑time.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent time‑served experience.
• Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness.
• Experience in social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Own tools preferred.
• Strong customer service skills for direct tenant interaction.
