Plasterer – Mobile role in Bournemouth

About the role

We are looking for a skilled plasterer to join our social housing repairs and maintenance team covering Bournemouth. The role offers the stability of full‑time employment combined with the autonomy of a mobile position, allowing you to work directly in occupied homes across the area.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal plastering repairs, including skimming, patching and full wall or ceiling finishes.
• Perform damp and mould remedial works where required.
• Maintain high‑quality standards while working in occupied properties.
• Manage your own stock and materials using the company‑provided van and fuel card.
• Use a PDA or mobile device to receive jobs and update status in real time.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent time‑served experience.
• Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness.
• Experience in social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Own tools are preferred.
• Strong customer service skills for direct tenant interaction.
