Platform Operations Engineer

About the role

The Platform Operations Engineer will join a technology‑focused team responsible for the security, resilience and performance of critical business platforms and cloud services. Working primarily with Microsoft technologies, you will help keep the environment stable, secure and available while collaborating with Application Support, Product Engineering, Security and Compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and related cloud services.
• Manage endpoint configuration, compliance policies, application deployment and protection.
• Maintain server, platform and infrastructure environments across production and non‑production systems.
• Implement platform security controls, secure configurations and system‑hardening standards.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation, security patching, platform upgrades and planned maintenance.
• Monitor platform health, respond to alerts, investigate incidents and support root‑cause analysis.
• Execute change management processes, disaster‑recovery testing and business continuity activities.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting tools.

Required profile

• Experience in infrastructure, cloud or platform support within a structured IT service environment.
• Comfort with Microsoft‑centric ecosystems and a desire to develop skills in cloud operations, automation and cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical mindset for incident resolution and continuous improvement.
