Plumber (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, reliable plumber to join our expanding team on a busy responsive‑repairs contract in Croydon. You will work on occupied social‑housing properties, delivering a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance to keep homes safe, functional and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in occupied properties, including leaks, blockages and drainage issues.
• Replace or repair taps, toilets, cisterns, basins, pipework, valves and fittings.
• Work on unvented cylinders, hot‑water systems and radiators, diagnosing and resolving faults.
• Record job details, materials used and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle; participate in out‑of‑hours emergency rota as required.
• Provide high levels of customer care and respect residents’ homes, reporting any safeguarding or additional property concerns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and follow health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service skills, especially in occupied homes.
