Plumber Multi Trader – Bromley (Social Housing)

About the role

The Hyde Group is seeking a Plumber Multi Trader to support its social housing portfolio across Bromley and Croydon. You will carry out plumbing repairs, installations and a range of basic trade tasks while delivering a high level of customer service to tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out first‑fix and second‑fix plumbing work, including taps, toilets, pipework, radiators and unvented cylinders.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently, ensuring durable repairs.
• Perform additional trade duties such as basic carpentry, tiling, patch plastering and general maintenance.
• Work safely inside occupied properties, minimizing disruption to residents.
• Record job details, materials used and work completed in the company’s job management system.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to complete jobs on schedule and to health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in first‑fix and second‑fix plumbing within residential or social‑housing settings.
• Ability to carry out basic carpentry, tiling and patch plastering alongside plumbing tasks.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations, asbestos awareness and safe working practices in domestic environments.
• Experience working in occupied homes and delivering courteous customer service.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
