Plumber – Multi‑Trade Specialist

About the role

If you’re an experienced plumber who can turn your hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in your work, we'd like to hear from you. As a plumber, you’ll be working in customers' homes carrying out day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance, delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out multi‑trade repairs, primarily plumbing, while handling general maintenance tasks as required.
• Diagnose and resolve day‑to‑day plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, taps, toilets, sinks, baths, showers, pipework, waste systems and minor drainage problems.
• Complete plumbing repairs and associated works in kitchens, bathrooms and other areas of customers' homes to a high standard.
• Undertake associated works including sealing, patch plastering, minor tiling, replacing fixtures and fittings, and making good after repairs.
• Work independently to manage your own workload while collaborating with other trades on complex repairs and projects.
• Accurately record work completed, materials used, and update progress through work orders and reporting systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service and keep residents informed throughout the repair process.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with Hyde's health and safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Provide a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes.

Required profile

• Solid experience across plumbing with the ability to undertake other general maintenance and multi‑trade repairs.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑friendly attitude.
• Physically fit and happy with hands‑on work.
• Experience working in social housing is a bonus.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
