Plumber's Mate - Temp-to-Perm, National Projects

About the role

1st Step Solutions is recruiting a Plumber's Mate for a temp-to-permanent role with a national M&E contractor. The work covers multiple projects across the country, with the base in Aldridge (WS9); pick-up is arranged there and job locations include Manchester, Liverpool and Preston. The role involves installing site temporaries.

Key responsibilities

• Install site temporaries
• Work across several national projects
• Assist electrically if required

Required profile

• CSCS card, with Site Safety Plus or equivalent (CCNSG, SSSTS, SMSTS, Level 1 in H&S); the course can be taken before starting if needed, at cost reimbursed after commencing
• References confirming similar duties
• Experience working on construction sites
• Flexibility to assist electrically if required
• Right to work in the UK

What we offer

• Pay of £20 per hour
• Van with fuel card provided
• Daily digs paid and a £25 meal allowance per day for days away
• Future training and qualifications offered once permanent
