Plumbing Engineer – Multi Skilled Plumber

About the role

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Plumber to join our Essex team, delivering high‑quality maintenance services across our contracts. The role combines plumbing expertise with broader mechanical, fabric and basic electrical maintenance in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on plumbing systems and building fabric.
• Install new plant and equipment, diagnose and repair faults on systems.
• Complete all required documentation, job packs and reports accurately and promptly.
• Work safely in line with work instructions, safe working practices and method statements.
• Maintain plant rooms, workshops and storage areas to a high standard of cleanliness.

Required profile

• Strong background in mechanical maintenance with plumbing expertise, plus fabric and basic electrical maintenance skills.
• Extensive experience in both planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent (preferable).
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
