Plumbing & Heating Trainer – Full Training Provided

About the role

Join a leading training provider as a Plumbing & Heating Trainer, delivering practical and classroom‑based instruction to apprentices and industry professionals. You will work Monday‑to‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm, in modern facilities located in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical workshop sessions and classroom‑based training in domestic plumbing and heating.
• Assess, coach and mentor apprentices throughout their qualifications.
• Carry out workplace assessments, learner reviews and progress monitoring.
• Provide training on emerging renewable technologies such as air‑source and ground‑source heat pumps, solar thermal and rainwater recycling.

Required profile

• Qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer with an NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Domestic gas experience.
• No prior teaching or assessing experience required – full teacher and assessor training will be provided.
