PMO Analyst – Banking Programme Management

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical PMO professional to support strategic change programmes within a banking environment. You will be the key link between delivery teams, finance, and senior stakeholders, ensuring transparent reporting, robust financial governance, and effective programme tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Produce weekly and monthly programme reports (RAID, milestones, status updates) and maintain executive dashboards.
• Track and manage programme budgets, forecasts, and actuals; generate burn‑rate, variance, and cost‑tracking reports.
• Implement and uphold PMO governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal controls.
• Manage RAID logs and support programme boards with accurate reporting packs.
• Engage senior stakeholders, translate complex data into actionable insights, and influence financial accuracy.
• Support resource tracking, capacity planning, and alignment of delivery plans with financial forecasts.

Required profile

• Strong experience in a PMO function within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and programme financial management.
• Excellent analytical and data‑interpretation abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, financial modelling, forecasting).
• Experience with Clarity PPM or similar portfolio‑management tools.
