PMO Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to design, embed and continuously improve our project, programme and portfolio management framework. You will ensure strategic change initiatives are delivered consistently, transparently and in line with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain delivery frameworks, methodologies, standards, templates and tools.
• Embed governance, planning, risk, issue, dependency, benefits and change‑control processes.
• Coach project and programme managers to achieve high‑quality delivery.
• Create portfolio reporting that provides insight for senior leaders and governance boards.
• Monitor portfolio performance, resource demand, risks and inter‑dependencies.
• Support portfolio prioritisation and investment decision‑making.
• Facilitate governance meetings and prepare decision papers.
• Lead lessons‑learned activities and drive continuous improvement across the change portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven PMO or portfolio management experience in a complex or regulated environment.
• Significant experience in PMO, portfolio, programme or change management.
• Track record of designing and implementing delivery frameworks.
• Strong portfolio reporting and governance experience for senior stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of project, programme and portfolio management principles.
• Experience with governance, assurance, risk and performance management.
