PMO / Project Support Officer

About the role

The Ministry of Justice is seeking a PMO/Project Support Officer to join its national Project Delivery Function. You will work within a flexible resource pool, supporting project managers across a range of justice‑related programmes and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain planning and scheduling systems for assigned projects.
• Establish and monitor project controls, producing regular status reports.
• Coordinate business‑management tasks, ensuring documentation is up‑to‑date.
• Assist Project Managers with risk, issue and change management processes.
• Support the delivery of project benefits and outcomes in line with MoJ priorities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum 18‑month placement.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Openness, honesty and a results‑focused mindset.
