Polish Speaking Credit Controller/AR

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Polish‑English Credit Controller to join a well‑established international organisation operating across Poland and the EMEA region. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring timely cash collection and maintaining accurate accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own the sales ledger for a dedicated portfolio of Poland/EMEA customers and secure timely receipt of outstanding monies.
• Contact customers by phone and email to drive cash collection, negotiate repayment schedules and resolve disputes.
• Prioritise accounts, follow collection strategies and maintain regular contact with at‑risk customers.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate invoice disputes, under‑payments, unallocated receipts and credit balances.
• Liaise with Sales, Customer Service and Billing to resolve queries and facilitate prompt payment.
• Monitor payment performance, flag risks and ensure compliance with credit policies and SOX regulations.
• Record all collection activity in the ERP system and produce aged debt, collections and dispute reports.

Required profile

• Fluent in Polish and English with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Order‑to‑Cash environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer accounts and achieve debt recovery targets.
• Experience working with ERP systems; Workday preferred, SAP or Oracle advantageous.
