Portfolio Pricing Actuary

About the role

We are seeking a qualified actuary to join a growing specialty insurance business in a high‑visibility pricing role. Based in London, you will work closely with underwriters and clients on innovative products, delegated‑authority arrangements, and large‑scale facilities, providing pricing support, portfolio analytics and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing models for a range of specialty insurance products.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to assess risk and set appropriate pricing structures.
• Perform portfolio analytics to identify trends, profitability drivers and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare strategic insight reports for senior stakeholders and clients.
• Support delegated‑authority arrangements and large‑scale facilities with accurate pricing data.

Required profile

• FIA qualification.
• Strong experience pricing within the London market.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially focused with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Willingness to work on‑site at least three days per week.
