Post 16 Aspiration Coach

About the role

Are you excited by inspiring and motivating young people to achieve their potential? This role will widen routes for care‑experienced post‑16 young people, providing quality careers input and work experience to support pathways into sustained employment in Lincolnshire. You will work collaboratively with schools, post‑16 education and training settings, and employers to improve employment outcomes for these young people.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with schools, post‑16 education providers and employers to secure improved employment outcomes for care‑experienced young people.
• Develop and deliver quality careers input and work‑experience opportunities that widen routes into sustained employment.

Required profile

• Experience working with post‑16 young people and a creative approach to engagement.
• Knowledge of relevant care legislation and national policies (desirable), with a focus on preparing for adulthood and employment routes.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to establish and sustain key relationships.
