Postal Delivery Driver - Bristol South

About the role
This temporary position involves delivering letters and parcels for Royal Mail from the Bristol BS3 3NR depot. You will work 30‑40 hours per week, including occasional weekend shifts, and have the opportunity to progress to a permanent role.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and sort mail and parcels for delivery.
- Deliver items to residential and business addresses within the assigned area.
- Follow safe driving practices and adhere to depot schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer enquiries when required.
Required profile
- Valid UK manual driving licence with a maximum of six penalty points.
- At least six months of driving experience.
- Ability to pass basic DBS and DVLA checks.
- Willingness to work weekend shifts as dictated by depot requirements.
Required skills
- Physical stamina to walk up to 20,000 steps per day.
- Capability to lift and carry mail bags weighing up to 16 kg.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £13.69.
