Postal Delivery Driver – Docklands (E14 7AE)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver at the Docklands Delivery Office. You will be the face of the service, delivering letters and parcels to the local community while staying active and working outdoors.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot across assigned routes.
• Build relationships with customers and represent Royal Mail professionally.
• Work in all weather conditions and handle high volumes during peak periods.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) registered to your name and address.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit – able to walk up to 12 miles, climb stairs/hills and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
