Postal Delivery Driver – Fixed-Term (9 months)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver on a nine‑month fixed‑term contract in Liverpool. You will deliver letters and parcels to homes and businesses, working a rotating shift pattern that includes weekends and Sundays.

Key responsibilities

• Sort incoming mail and parcels at the Liverpool South East Delivery Office.
• Deliver items by van and on foot across a local route, covering up to 12 miles per shift.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing a friendly and reliable service.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) registered to your current name and address.
• Ability to pass a Royal Mail driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs or hills and lift/carry mailbags of 10 kg or more.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Valid manual UK driving licence.
