Postal Delivery Driver – Full/Part Time – Rochester

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver in Rochester, delivering letters and parcels to your local community. You will work on a rotating shift schedule, including occasional weekends, and be the friendly face that brings important items to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the Rochester Delivery Office.
• Deliver mail by van and on foot throughout the assigned route.
• Build relationships with customers and represent the Royal Mail brand.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, handling high volumes during peak periods.
• Complete a weekly Sunday shift (10:00‑18:00) on a rotating basis.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) registered to your current name and address.
• Physically fit for walking up to 12 miles and lifting/ carrying 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
