Postal Delivery Driver – Leatherhead

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver in Leatherhead and become the friendly face that brings letters, parcels and moments that matter to the local community. You will work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, delivering mail by van and on foot while enjoying the outdoors.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the Leatherhead Delivery Office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot across your local route.
• Build relationships with customers and represent the Royal Mail brand.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, handling a high volume of mail and parcels.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address).
• Willingness and ability to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit – able to walk up to 12 miles, climb stairs or hills, and lift/carry mailbags of 10 kg or more.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused with pride in delivering great service.
