Postal Delivery Driver (Redruth)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver in Redruth, delivering letters and parcels to the local community. You will work a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends, and be the face of a trusted service.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the Redruth delivery office.
• Deliver mail and parcels by van and on foot across assigned routes.
• Build relationships with customers and represent Royal Mail professionally.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, handling high volumes during peak periods.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and follow safety procedures.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) registered to your current name and address.
• Ability to pass a driving assessment and drive a Royal Mail van daily.
• Physically fit to walk up to 12 miles, climb stairs or hills, and lift/carry mailbags of 10 kg or more.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
