Postperson (Driving) – 32 hrs/week

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with driving responsibilities, delivering letters and parcels across the Mildenhall area. You will work 32 hours a week, Monday to Sunday, providing a vital service to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses.
• Operate a company vehicle safely, adhering to all road and safety regulations.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, walking long distances as required.
• Cover occasional Sundays at the Bury St Edmunds Delivery Office (one in four weeks).
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy interacting with the community and taking pride in the role.
• Comfortable walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points).
