Postperson (Driving) – Fixed‑Term, 30 hrs/week

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with driving responsibilities in Bristol. This fixed‑term position (9 months) involves delivering mail and parcels across the local community, working varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to residential and business addresses.
• Operate a company‑provided vehicle safely, adhering to all road regulations.
• Follow a rota that includes evenings (14:45‑21:15) and weekend shifts (11:00‑18:00).
• Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer interactions professionally.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Required skills

• Valid UK manual driving licence.
