Postperson (Driving) – Fixed‑Term Part‑Time

About the role

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic, community‑focused individuals to join our delivery team on a fixed‑term, part‑time basis. You will work from our Keynsham and Bristol South East delivery offices, handling a variety of mail and parcels across the local area.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels on assigned routes, Monday to Saturday, with occasional Sunday shifts.
• Operate a company‑provided vehicle safely, adhering to all road regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer interactions professionally.
• Adapt to peak‑period schedules, including extended evening shifts when required.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking long distances and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Valid manual driving licence (UK).
