Postperson (Driving) – Part‑time Fixed‑Term

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie with driving responsibilities on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. Working 30 hours per week across Monday to Sunday, you will deliver mail and parcels to the local community in Truro, rain or shine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to residential and business addresses.
• Drive a Royal Mail vehicle safely, adhering to all road regulations.
• Walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow a local rota that includes Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Provide friendly, reliable customer service to the community.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to great customer service.
• Enjoy walking for long periods and working outdoors.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points).
