About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson delivering letters and parcels across Glasgow and surrounding areas. This part‑time, fixed‑term position offers a dynamic mix of driving, walking and customer interaction, with a rotating shift pattern that includes weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the Kirkintilloch delivery office.
• Deliver mail by van and on foot, covering up to 12 miles (20,000+ steps) per shift.
• Build relationships with customers and represent the Royal Mail brand.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and adapt to changing delivery routes.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) registered to your name and address.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
